Title: Marilyn's Everyday Health Bread

Yield: 1 Loaf

1 1/2 POUND LOAF
1 1/4cWater
1 1/2cWhole wheat flour
1 1/2cBread flour
1/2cWhole grains*
1 1/2tsSalt
1 1/2tbButter; or margerine
3tbSugar
1 1/2tbNonfat dry milk powder
2tsRed Star yeast

Place all ingredients in bread pan, press light crust setting, and press start. After the baking cycle ends, remove bread from pan, place on cake rack, and allow to cool 1 hour before slicing. *The 1/2c whole grains could be: 1/2c oats; 1/4c oats and 1/4c miller's bran; 2T each miller's bran, oats, cracked wheat, and oat bran; or any amount of various grains equal to 1/2c. Book's Note: A create your own recipe, this is a good one for using up those odds and ends of various grains you may have on hand. Our friend Marilyn gave us this recipe.
